I love Iron Eagle and The Last Dragon. What does that say about me personally? It says that I am a connoisseur of cinematic masterpieces...and the butt of many jokes tossed around by the attendees of Lurple's ever-so-often MST3K-esque movie nights. All in all, I'm probably the most average Joe reviewer you'll find on this site. I grew up watching (and loving) good and bad mainstream American tv and cinema. I was never really exposed to foreign movies growing up. It wasn't until I met Lurple that I started to venture into foreign territory. My favorite martial arts movies as a kid were Jean-Claude Van Damme movies (I had never watched an HK kung-fu movie before) and my favorite horror movies were the Nightmare on Elm Street series. I must truly thank Lurple for opening my eyes to the many great movies that are not made in the USA, and I vow a blood-oath of vengeance for introducing me to some truly horrible, soul-stealing, mind-melting, make-me-wanna-gouge-my-eyes-remove-my-scalp-and-stick-my-brain-in-a-meat-grinder masterpieces of film.
