Thunder Warrior

Thunder Warrior

Planky Mark Gregory (Bronx Warriors—82) is Red Indian Thunder Warrior, a passive and lethal ex ‘Nam vet Navajo who travels home to his ancestral lands to find evil bankers and redneck lawmen are dynamiting his tribal burial grounds.

His granpa’ is frightened and old, so Thunder goes to see racist town sherrif Bo Svenson, but ends up run out of town and kicked clever by evil bastard Antonio Sabato (War Of The Robots—78) and his cowboy gang. Left for dead and slightly enraged, Thunder doesn’t say much and then spends the rest of the movie killing the fuck out of everybody in an explosive and very obvious rip off of First Blood (82) and Johnny Firecloud (75).

Directed by the loon behind Killer Crocodile (88), this fab Italian production was shot in Arizona to look Hollywood and is full of laughable/great/dumb/dubbed dialogue, gunfire, squibs, stunts, crashes, kicking, cursing and a jaw-dropping, low budget, low speed bulldozer rampage. A classic alone for the single scene where Thunder dives head first thru’ a plate glass window..... for NO fucking reason—at all!

The equally brain damaged and delightful Thunder returned in Thunder Warrior 2 (84). “I can’t feel my legs!!”
