Nude for Satan

Not only has this limp, bloodless, Italian horror got a just plain genius title, it’s sexy star Rita Calderoni (who has a bush to rival Linay Romay’s) actually does get nude for satan. In fact, while she and her doctor pal (James Harris) are stranded at a remote castle, she gets nude a whole lot, whether she’s washing, having a nightmare, walking the dog or peeling the spuds, she’s as nudey as ya’ like.
 
She’s especially nude in a scene where satan himself zaps her clothes off with a blink of his goggly eyes… Booiing! Apparently, Calderoni and Harris are trapped and teased by satan (who looks like Englebert Humperdink) in a weird dreamscape castle where they undergo possession, revelation, temptation and time jumping ghosts who babble in shite riddles. More ok than good, if A. B. Bembo’s score wasn’t memorable enough, the wobbly camera work and the devil FX are totally amateur and therefore utterly funny.
 
All shit aside, the ONLY reason to watch this is to view the curvy Calderoni literally act her pants off (and get attacked by a giant rubber spider). Director Solvay (R.I.P 2008) often used the name ‘Ivan Kathansky’, and is also responsible for the equally batty and great The Devil’s Wedding Night (73) and the fantastically crass The Beast In Heat (76).
