That's right! Lurple will be at TIFF '08. Not for the entire thing, but at least for the last couple of days to catch a couple of spiffy films. The entire schedule was finally announced today and I've been looking forward to this for a while!
Due to TIFF's lottery system I'm still not entirely certainly what I'll be seeing, but I'm hoping to catch a few of their Midnight Madness features like Detroit Metal City, Eden Log and Sexykiller.
Twitch also has a lot of coverage of TIFF '08, so if you're interested I recommend giving their TIFF '08 Category a look.

My lovely editor is also hoping to upgrade her "most famous celebrity she's met" from Lorenzo Lamas to... well, anyone else.
I'd love to go to the B-movie celebration, but between TIFF and the SXSW festival in early 2009 (and possibly a few other weekend trips) I'm not sure I'll be able to swing much more traveling for a while. Maybe next year we could get a force of bloggers to descend on it.
